It is already known that Andhra Pradesh had recently completed the procedure of nominating Rajya Sabha MPs to the upper house. There was one very interesting discussion that happened regarding the allocationa made by Janasena.
Lingamaneni Ramesh, who was nominated by the JSP for the Rajya Sabha faced a lot of targeted attack on social media.
However, this very Janasena MP who was targeted extensively on social media has now raised a very important point in the Raja Sabha at the best possible time.
Ramesh wrote to the Central government to allocate two additional AIIMs to Andhra Pradesh at the earliest. He used his power as the Raja Sabha MP to write this letter to the central government, while appealing for additional institutions of medical sciences in Andhra Pradesh.
In the letter, it was mentioned that Andhra Pradesh needs additional medical institutions that are funded and operated by the central government in view of the growing population. He further requested the government to see to it that one institute each is allocated to the Rayalaseema region and the Uttharandhra regions respectively.
It was further requested that the existing AIIMS in Mangalagiri must also be improved with the latest top grade medial apparatus and faculties.
Andhra Pradesh had been in need of medical institutions for a long time now, and it would be the best possible outcome if the central government actually grants two AIIMS to the state.
