Viral: A Male Robot Touches Reporter Inappropriately

The first male robot in Saudi Arabia triggered a controversy online. A video of the first AI robot in Saudi Arabia has the robot touching a female reporter inappropriately.

Footage from the robot’s inaugural public appearance at DeepFest in Riyadh on March 4 showed the robot’s inappropriate gesture.

The reporter was also shocked and raised her hand looking at the robot.

The video went viral on the internet and many commented that it was ‘Coded to be a creep’, a ‘Womaniser robot’, and a ‘Pervet Robot’. Others opined that it could be malfunctioning and that backend developers need more time to work.
