Abhishek vs Digvesh : What Happened Last Night?

The IPL has well and truly returned with the tenacious restart that happened with the game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata. Though the resumption game got cancelled due to rain, the tournament has hit top gear again with the recent games. 

Coming to the topic now, something untoward has happened in the game between Lucknow and Hyderabad that happened last night.

There was this one shocker of an incident involving SRH’s young player Abhishek Sharma and LSG’s Digvesh Rathi. The two youngsters indulged in a heated verbal exchange.

This happened after Abhishek who played a hell of an innings by scoring 59 from 20 balls was dismissed by Digvesh in the second innings. After an aggressive gesture from Digvesh, it was Abhishek’s turn to give it back as he gestured towards Digvesh, where he implied he would smash the latter by grabbing his hair. 

This was a very heated clash that had to be later pacified by the LSG players who intervened at the right time while Abhishek and Digvesh were having a go at each other. 

Digvesh has the reputation of being a sore loser and aggressive person who irked many players in the recent games and even got fined for the same. He took it up a notch with the game against Abhishek today.
